A few of my thoughts on leadership

Governor’s Leadership Foundation Program 2016

In 2016 I participated in the Governor’s Leadership Foundation (GLF) program, run by the Leaders Institute of SA. I started to blog about my experience and I plan to go back and fill in the gaps with my reflections from the year (… when I gather my thoughts!)

The GLF sessions are conducted under something called Chatham House Rule. It’s used worldwide to facilitate both free speech and confidentiality. It means I’m free to use the information or opinions disclosed to me on two conditions:

  1. Neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speakers, nor that of any other participant at that meeting, may be revealed.
  2. It may not be divulged that the information was received at that meeting.

With that in mind, my blogs are mainly focused on my learning, the things that peaked my interest and the bits I found challenging. It’s deliberately a bit vague at times, but I hope it’s interesting and useful for your own learning.
